Kory Tedrick

Andrew Forshee

My name is Kory.   Everyday I am amazed at how blessed I am to be here as the Lead Pastor of Lake Sarah Baptist Church.   I’m married to Toni.  She’s my best friend and we’re both excited to be here on the prairie in Southwest Minnesota.

I have three amazing sons (Rob, Ben, and Josh).  Two live around the St. Louis Missouri and one lives in Marshall. Our oldest (Rob) is married to Zetty (whom Toni and I love dearly).

I have served in ministry in big churches (over 2000 in attendance) and little churches (started with 5- yes just my family).  I’ve been privileged to serve in Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

I was born in St. Louis, raised in central Florida, and then was a teen and young adult back in the St. Louis area before moving for seminary at Bethel in Arden Hills, MN.

I enjoy reading and art (an art major in college).  But I also enjoy being active, camping, shooting, golfing, fishing and kayaking.  Anything I can do with others, whether I’m learning something new or sharing something I’ve done a thousand times is a blast for me.

Most of all I love God.  I enjoy Him so much that I decided through Jesus to make Him my full-time, all-of-life endeavor and adventure.   And then on top of that, I’ve been honored to be called to serve vocationally as well.

My passion is to tell other people about the love of God and the amazing life available in Christ.

Hello, I am Andrew Forshee, and I am married to Katie, and we have five children (Judah, Jeziah, Justice, Joy, and Jozlyn). We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve at Lake Sarah Baptist Church.

I have served in Youth Ministry for over 10 years and have preached in numerous rural churches in southern Missouri.

I was born in St. Louis and met my wife on eHarmony. We lived in Sedalia, MO, for eight years before moving to Slayton, MN.

I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Ministry with a focus on Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have my M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Christian Ministry from Spurgeon College.

I love hockey and all sports, as well as hunting, fishing, and playing late-night board games—any opportunity to hang out with people, laugh, and talk about Jesus and life.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve and teach others about Jesus, who is always good. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. - Eph. 2:10”
